By HPMI This course has been designed for General Practitioners or GP Trainees. It is also suitable for nurses and other health professionals in the area of maternal and infant health. There are three components to the course:
Manual: comprising 36 Chapters which can be read in 15-20 minutes. Test Questions: After reading through each chapter, registrants absorption is tested with a series of 8-10 "Test Questions" which are listed at the end of most chapters. The pass mark is 80%. Practical Experience in Antenatal Care and Neonatal Examinations: Registrants will need to arrange to attend either an Obstetrician's rooms or Antenatal Clinic as well as visit a Paediatrician's rooms or Obstetric Hospital for 90-120 minutes .
