On completion of this activity, participants will be able to
Implement a triage system in general practice to mitigate risk in relation to the allocation of patient appointments, that complies with RACGP practice standards
Safely and appropriately implement triage skills in general practice, including those relating to telephone calls, procedures in the waiting room and interaction with the general practice team.
Use triage tools and guidelines to recognise and prioritise patients in the waiting room
Document triage interactions, including advice received from other staff members
