Dr Tania Morgan

Dr Tania Morgan is a Gynaecologist and Obstetrician with a special interest in minimally invasive surgery.

Dr Morgan consults at Lingard Private Specialist Suites and Health HQ at Salamander Bay.

Dr Morgan completed her specialty training in Obstetrics and Gyanecology in Boston at Harvard and TUFTs Universities. She spent 18 years working in women’s health in the United States where she also did advanced training in robotic surgery and was a Clinical Professor at the Medical College of Georgia. She then returned to Australia in 2014 and was granted a Fellowship of the Australian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

Dr Morgan completed her medical degree (MBBS) at Flinders University, South Australia. Further qualifications include a Master’s In Public Health Degree at Emory University in the United States and a Certificate in Clinical Education from Flinders University. She also has advanced training in gynaecological ultrasound.

Dr Morgan is a senior Lecturer at the University of Newcastle. Dr Morgan has over twenty years’ experience in women’s health and can help women achieve improvements in the following areas through medical, surgical and alternative therapies:

  • Infertility
  • Incontinence and prolapse
  • Colposcopy, vulva and cervical screening abnormalities
  • Menopause
  • Abnormal periods
  • Endometriosis

Her main goal is to empower women in their health care decisions and support them to have a quick return to normal activities. In her free time she spends time with her three children and enjoys the beaches close by with her dog Lily.
