She completed her medical degree at the University of Sydney and worked at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Wollongong Hospital before commencing her Neurosurgical training. After completing her training at several hospitals including Westmead\, John Hunter and the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospitals she was awarded her Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2020. In 2021 she worked at Auckland City Hospital for a post-fellowship training year before moving home to Newcastle.
