Dr Nader Awad

Uro-Oncologist and Robotic Surgeon MBBS FRACS (Urol)
 

Dr Awad is a graduate of the University of NSW and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Urology.

Dr Awad has completed international fellowships in Urological Cancer.

He has a particular interest in Prostate and Bladder Cancer, as well as performing advanced laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery of the kidney and adrenal gland. He has performed the largest number of Radical Prostatectomies, Radical Cystectomies and Laparoscopic Nephrectomies in the region.

Dr Awad has also developed improved Prostate Biopsy techniques to enhance Prostate Cancer Detection.

Whilst Dr Awad treats all urological conditions, he has areas of specialised experience and training, particularly robotic surgery for urological cancers.
