HPMI MEDICAL EDUCATION UPDATE

On behalf of the Hunter Postgraduate Medical Institute, we would like to invite you to the first HPMI Education Day to be held on Saturday, 20 September 2025, at the Newcastle Exhibition & Convention Centre, Newcastle West.

This new initiative replaces the long-standing HPMI Newcastle Weekend, which served our local health community for the past 16 years. In response to feedback from our local health professionals, we have transitioned to a streamlined, jam-packed, one-day event. HPMI recognises the growing demands on practitioners’ time in the current climate. The redesigned format aims to deliver a focused update for the General Practice Team.

We are honoured to welcome Dr Norman Swan as our Plenary Speaker, whose insights will set the tone for a dynamic and informative day. Norman will present on Is AI the Death or Rebirth of General Practice
