Dr Tim Stewart

Experienced Emergency Medicine Physician with almost 20 years of experience in Public Emergency Departments. 15 years working in Private EDs and ICU
 
Dr Tim has a passion for education and training, and has completed the world renowned Simulation Instructor Training at the Centre for Medical Simulation (Harvard, Boston). With this experience he has developed an award winning weekly training session for junior doctors using simulation as a safe space to practice complex and high stake medical cases. Dr. Tim has also developed leadership skills running one of the busiest Emergency Departments in the region, and assisting other Emergency Departments in the Lower Hunter Area who may not be fortunate enough to have a doctor on site..

Dr Heidi Goldsmith

Dr Heidi Goldsmith is a paediatrician 
 
Her educational journey commenced with a Bachelor of Nursing degree, followed by a fulfilling three-year tenure as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department of John Hunter Hospital. In 2011, Heidi completed her postgraduate degree in Medicine with Distinction.
Her early medical career was cultivated at Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital, where she gained valuable experience. She subsequently pursued specialised training in paediatrics within the John Hunter Children’s Hospital (JHCH) network, including a portion of Advanced Training in Alice Springs, Northern Territory. Alongside her work in General Paediatrics, Heidi also contributed as a Clinical Genetics Fellow and served as a Neonatal Fellow.
Heidi currently plays pivotal roles with the Child Protection and ADHD Teams at JHCH, as well as actively participating in General Paediatrics at The Maitland Hospital.
