DR RICHARD HARBURY

Dr Richard Harbury is an Orthopaedic Surgeon with special interests in lower limb surgery, including sports knee injuries, knee replacement surgery and hip replacement surgery. He undertakes both primary and revision joint replacement procedures.
 

Richard undertook 14 years of training to qualify as an orthopaedic surgeon and further training to specialise in his area of expertise. He has been in practice as a specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon for over 20 years.

Richard also undertakes continuous professional development activities under the auspices of the Australian Orthopaedic Association/Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. This is to ensure that his knowledge and skills remain at the cutting edge of orthopaedic knowledge.

Dr Richard Harbury remains involved in the specialist teaching of orthopaedic registrars at Maitland Public Hospital.
