Dr Muhammad Usman
Clinical Immunology, Allergy and General Medicine.
Dr Muhammad Usman is a dedicated Clinical Immunologist and acute and general medicine specialist, currently also serving as a Medical Staff Specialist (in Immunology, General and Acute Medicine) at John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle. Following his basic physician training at Gold Coast University Hospital, Dr Usman went on to secure dual fellowships in Clinical Immunology and Allergy and General Medicine in 2025, after expanding his expertise through training and service at Canberra, Royal North Shore and John Hunter Hospitals.
His patient-centred approach combines compassionate care with the latest medical evidence to achieve optimal outcomes for patients. Dr Usman is also a conjoint lecturer at the University of Newcastle.
Dr Usman accepts referrals for a wide spectrum of allergy/immunology conditions affecting adults and children over 4 years of age, including food and inhalant allergies, chronic urticaria/angioedema, autoimmune/vasculitic/autoinflammatory conditions and primary and secondary immunodeficiencies
