Course Content

Recognising and Documenting DFSV Signs:
You will learn how to identify and document potential signs of domestic, family, and sexual violence (DFSV) in patients, including behaviours and disclosures that may arise during interactions, scheduling, or reception duties. You will develop practical skills to ensure clear and thorough records are made for follow-up care.

Upholding Confidentiality:
You will understand how to securely handle sensitive patient information, ensuring compliance with privacy laws and ethical standards.

Reporting and Seeking Guidance:
You will be equipped to report concerns about DFSV to the doctor and management with detailed documentation and clarity. You will also know how to seek expert guidance from the Local Link when unsure whether a situation requires reporting.
