Dr Brett Locker

Dr Locker, Director of Gynaecology at John Hunter Hospital consults and operates at Maitland Private Hospital. Dr Locker is an extensively experienced gynaecologist with a wide range of practice, in both the developed and developing world. His special interest lies in urogynaecology (incontinence and prolapse), however he is expert in all areas of gynaecology including: Urogynaecology Abnormal vaginal bleeding PAP smear problems Menopausal medicine Pelvic pain Laparoscopic (including laparoscopic hysterectomy) and vaginal surgery Dr Locker has had long-term involvement in medical student and registrar teaching, as the past coordinator of the Hunter New England Obstetric and Gynaecology registrar training scheme and he currently runs the only public urogynaecology clinic in the Hunter at John Hunter Hospital.
