Dr Ushank Ranadinghe

Dr Ushank Ranasinghe is an Endocrinologist and General Physician. Ushank graduated from the University of Manchester UK in 2011 and completed his physician training at the John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle and Royal Darwin Hospital to obtain a dual fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). He has published research in leading international peer-reviewed journals and presented at various national and international conferences. He has a keen interest in medical education and holds a conjoint lecturer position with the University of Newcastle. Ushank is keen to provide patient-centred care through a holistic approach and has experience in perioperative medicine, including completing a perioperative course from Monash University. Ushank will be offering consultative services across Diabetes and Endocrinology. His clinical areas of interest include all aspects of diabetes care, including diabetes in pregnancy, perioperative and post-operative diabetes management, osteoporosis, electrolyte disorders, immunotherapy-related endocrinopathies and general endocrinology. He is happy to discuss patients and review consultations promptly. Ushank is providing care to patients admitted to Lake Macquarie Private Hospital and is consulting from the Lake Macquarie Private Specialist Medical Centre.
