Mr Tim Stewart

Dr. Tim has a passion for education and training, and has completed the world renowned Simulation Instructor Training at the Centre for Medical Simulation (Harvard, Boston). With this experience he has developed an award winning weekly training session for junior doctors using simulation as a safe space to practice complex and high stake medical cases.

 

Dr. Tim has also developed leadership skills running one of the busiest Emergency Departments in the region, and assisting other Emergency Departments in the Lower Hunter Area who may not be fortunate enough to have a doctor on site.

It was through this experience that he realised there was a need for a community based alternative for patients who were coming to the Emergency Department … and so Urgent Care was born in the Hunter in 2022
