Dr Uzma Mamoon, General Physician, Manning Base Hospital
Dr Mamoon is currently serving as a consultant physician, RACP supervisor, and work-based assessor for international medical graduates aiming to get general registration and medical governance at a hospital in their home.
She has a strong interest in the management of diabetes, cardiometabolic diseases, infectious diseases and antimicrobial stewardship. She is passionate about prevention and holistic care. She is also deeply engaged in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and exam preparation.
Beyond clinical practise, she has contributed to ethical research review and other hospital governance committees. She has published research, authored the book 1000 MCQs in internal medicine and regularly serves as a peer reviewer for medical journals.
