What you will learn
- Recognise key signs that indicate a child may be seriously unwell and determine when urgent assessment or escalation is required in General Practice
- Understand the basic principles of stabilising an unwell child in a GP or urgent‑care setting and know when and how to initiate urgent referral or transfer

Dr Carina completed her specialist training at the prestigious Oxford University Hospital in the UK, where her outstanding clinical skills led her to rank number 1 nationally in her final examinations. Dr Carina has extensive experience in Emergency Medicine, Paediatrics and General Practice in both Australia and the UK, and holds diplomas in both Children’s and Women’s Health
