Speaker
Dr Alex Gordon, FRACP MBBS (Adelaide) Sleep and Respiratory Physician
Dr Gordon graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2012, completing his medical internship and residency at the Lyell McEwin Hospital in South Australia. He moved to the Hunter Region in 2015 for basic physician training, followed by advanced training in Respiratory and Sleep Medicine at John Hunter and Gosford Hospitals, acquiring his Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians at the start of 2021.
He is currently enrolled in a PhD focusing on the use of medications to modify the body’s immune response in airway diseases such as Asthma and COPD. He has a special interest in airways diseases, venous thromboembolism and all aspects of sleep medicine.
