Dr Jimmy George,  Ophthalmic Surgeon, Manning Base Hospital, Taree


Dr Jimmy George is a seasoned Ophthalmic surgeon with over 20 years of experience in the field. He has successfully treated medical and surgical Ophthalmic diseases during this time. He is a proficient General Ophthalmologist with expertise in Cataract surgery, Intravitreal Injections of anti-VEGF agents such as Lucentis and Avastin, Pterygium surgery with auto-conjunctival grafts and Oculoplastic procedures.

Dr George operates at the Manning Base Hospital in Taree, the Soldier’s Memorial Hospital in Gloucester, Mayo Private Hospital and Foster Private Hospital.

Dr George will take the time to address your concerns and answer all your questions. His guiding philosophy is patient-centred and empathetic care.
