Dr Fiona O’Connell is a GP with Special Interest offering in-depth follow up options to Gastroenterology patients at Beechnut Medical Rooms. You can find out more about this innovative model of shared care here.
Fiona O’Connell is a graduate of the University of Bristol, UK. She spent her early career in Hospital Medicine, particularly Gastroenterology & Oncology before retraining a General Practitioner in Edinburgh.
She has loved working as a GP for over 20 years, both in Scotland & Australia and enjoys the variety and breadth of her current practice.
She has a special interest in Holistic and Preventative Health and particularly enjoys helping patients with chronic disease understand and manage their long-term issues.
When not at work, she is spending time with her family, running with her energetic border collie and planning the next adventure.
