Speaker
Dr Brenton Johns, Hip & Knee Orthopaedic Surgeon
Dr Brenton Johns is an Australian-trained orthopaedic surgeon. He holds dual international fellowships in hip and knee replacement surgery, including robotic and revision surgery. He obtained his medical degree at the University of New South Wales and completed his Australian orthopaedic training in Newcastle. Dr Johns was awarded his PhD in Surgical Science in 2025.
Additionally, Dr Johns has completed surgical visitations with leading surgeons who have pioneered kinematic and robotic joint replacement in New York, California, Rhode Island and Florida. He is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and Australian Orthopaedic Association, a member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and the Canadian Arthroplasty Society.
