This webinar explores the important role that practice managers and administrative staff play in recognising and responding to domestic, family and sexual violence (DFSV) within primary healthcare and community settings. As the first point of contact for many patients and clients, administration staff are often well placed to identify concerns, manage sensitive information, and contribute to a safe, trauma-informed response. Participants will gain an understanding of how to recognise potential signs of DFSV, respond appropriately to disclosures or concerns, and navigate practical issues such as confidentiality, documentation, referrals, and subpoena requests. The session will promote a whole-of-practice approach to supporting the safety and wellbeing of victim-survivors. |
